Accommodation is a term used to describe the supports, services, and resources made available to individuals with disabilities, such as mobility and communication supports, service animals, assistive devices, and documents in different formats. These ensure that all programs and services are accessible to the entire community.
If you are coming to The Ability Clinic and you or your loved one requires an accommodation during your visit, we encourage you to contact the clinic prior to your visit.
The entrances on the main floor of the building, as well as our clinic door, are all wheelchair accessible. Van accessible parking is available just outside the main doors. Parking.

We have a transport wheelchair should you require.
We have a ceiling Hoyer lift should you require.
A “Support Person” accompanies a person with a disability, to help with communication, mobility, personal care or medical needs or with access to goods or services.
A Loop system is available at the front reception desk to provide clear communication with hearing instrument wearers.
If you require interpretation services, please arrange for an interpreter to be present. If you require a sign language interpreting services, either in-person or via video, please visit Canadian Hearing Services.
Tactile tiles are embedded within our floor to allow for seamless wayfinding. Clear signage at key points are visibly displayed to reduce confusion.
Your service animal is welcome to accompany you during your visit.
